Type Locality and Naming
By the mountain of Khokgaltag, basin of the Shing River, Zarafshan-Gissar mountain region. A.I. Lavrushevich, G.N. Menakova, 1966 (368, p.21). Stratotype in the Daurch city section. Third member in the Shing Fm. Initially described by A.A. as "H layers".

Lithology and Thickness
Thin and medium-bedded black clayey dolomitized mudstone and detrital limestones and dolomites. Thickness 20-30m.

Lower contact
Conformably contacts with underlying Mukhak Member

Overlying Yakkhonin Member
Regional extent
Zarafshan-Gissar mountainous region, Daurch city.

Fossils
The identification of these deposits as independent layers is based exclusively on paleontological data. Contains corals - Tecia sp, Palaeofavosites hirtus Sok., Catenipora taimyrica (Tchern.), Halysites sp., Entelophyllum articulatum (Wahl.), Tryplasma flexuosum (Lin.), T. glabra (Lin.); brachiopods - Pentamerus magianicus Men., P. longiseptatus Boris., which are guide forms of the late Llandovery.
